Cyclocross racing comes to Bramley Fall Park on 5 July

Cyclocross is a great sport for all ages. You race round a 2km circuit in the park for a set period of time. The length of time depends on your race - see below for more.

All you need to enter is:
  • an off road bike with knobbly tyres (mountain bike or gravel bike are perfect)
  • a bike helmet

...and you're good to go!

It’s also an exciting sport to watch! You can get close up to the action all the way from the start to the finish line. Plus it's free entry for spectators.

There will be a coffee van on site for refreshments and toilets will be available. And it's right down the road from the Acorn pub.

How to enter

The deadline to enter is 9.00pm on Sunday 2 July.

You must sign up in advance. We cannot accept entries on the day.

You do not need to be a member of British Cycling to enter, but there is an extra £3 charge if you are not a British Cycling member.

On the day

Head to the registration gazebo to get your race number and timing chip.

We will have your name on our list. But have your confirmation email from British Cycling to hand just in case.

The timing chip goes on your ankle, your race number goes on the left arm of your top with safety pins.

Make sure you:
  • are at the start area 5 minutes before your race starts
  • are wearing your helmet!

If you have any questions, just ask one of our friendly Bramley Wheelers marshals. We'll be happy to help!
